South London beat-maker Slim is continuing to drop instrumental gems from his group Summers Sons's forthcoming album Nostalgia. Editing all 10 songs from the album, we first heard the silky jazz sounds of 'Say Less (Beat Edit)' a couple of weeks back, and now, 'Out The Blue (Instrumental)'. Modestly short in length like the previous single, 'Out The Blue (Instrumental)' features chilled piano riffs, and a relaxed groove on the bass and drums and feels very much influenced by breezy 70's jazz funk like Roy Ayres.
